  • Setting the Scene: Basic Info About the Adventure

  • The date you left on your trip, not today's date!
  • example: I hit up Red Bluff for a two-day camping trip. We did a ton of hikes both days and it was easy to cool off by swimming in the nearby river.
  • example: Red Bluff State Park is about 1.5 hours away from metro St. Louis, in ABC town, Missouri.
  • example: It's an easy drive down I-55 South. Then left on MO-xx...
  • example: "There's a hidden stop sign about 2 miles after you get off MO-XX. Watch for police." Or "Be sure to stock up before you head out because decent provisions are not easy to find along the way."
  • example: "You can check out all kinds of great stuff about Red Bluff at www.destination.com, but be sure to get directions from mapquest or google because the park's site is not clear and the map feature is completely useless."
  • This is for us to provide information like, for example: "Come in to the shop and talk with me, Billy or Sam. We would love to help you out and provide some more pointers if you are considering an overnight at Red Bluff."
