Alpine Shop now accepts gear from every season for our Swaps. So you can bring in both your skis and your mountain bike or your kayak and your snowboard. Either way, it means more opportunities for you to sell your old gear to get into the new gear you really want. Or, it means more chances for you to get great deals on a “new-to-you” piece of gear!
When You Can Check-In Items
Gear may be brought in from noon to 8 pm beginning this year on Saturday, October 12, 2013 through Thursday, Oct. 17. HOWEVER, PLEASE NOTE: Swap gear check-in ends at 8 pm on THURSDAY. THERE WILL BE ABSOLUTELY NO CHECK INS ON FRIDAY, Oct. 18. At that time, we have to load all of that day’s swap product into our computer system so the system will work properly for the Swap on Friday. This means you will probably need to be in line by 6 pm—or possibly sooner— on Thursday, Oct. 17 to get your gear checked-in. Please don’t wait until then. You have the entire weekend before Swap to check-in your items this year.
Here is our list of Accepted and NOT Accepted Items for our Swap events. Please note, this is not meant to be an all-inclusive list. Alpine Shop reserves the right to refuse ANY item for ANY reason. All items must be clean and in good condition. All bikes, skis and snowboards will be safety checked by Alpine Shop technicians before they will be accepted into the Swap. However, Alpine Shop makes no guarantee for ANY used item purchased at a Swap event.

Straight Skis/Old Skis (Ski Shops cannot work on bindings older than 7 years due to insurance regulations. For a complete list of acceptable bindings, click here.)
